There are some days you just need an American hamburger. (Disagree? Maybe you'd be more interested in the post on vegetarian restaurants in Lyon.) If a hamburger is what you're after, make your way to the nearest Ninkasi. Locals go for the live music and casual atmosphere. American expats go for the crispy fries and burgers cooked to order - even rare, if you want. Try finding that in the US these days!

I just recently moved to Lyon and I'm so glad I found this blog! I took the Ninkasi advice and it is seriously worth it!! Total craving satisfaction!
The location at Opéra is closed, though.
Welcome to Lyon!!! They do have good burgers, but I have to admit what I really like their are the Piña Coladas :)
