There's a new burger in town

Q: What on earth does 'Bieh' mean and how do you say it?
A: It stands for 'Best I Ever Had' and is pronounced 'bee-aye'.

Q: How long has Bieh been in Lyon?
A:
Since October 2009.

Q: Is it true they serve a bacon cheddar cheeseburger with real bacon, real cheddar and a real beef patty larger than a Prince cookie?
A:
You betcha'. 180 grams = just over 6 oz. And a dill pickle to boot.

Q: I-have-to-go-now-where-is-it?
A:
4 rue Tupin, 69002

Q: Oh wait - is it ridiculously expensive?
A: Nope. 8-13,50€ for burgers, 5-7€ for hot sandwiches, 5,50-9,50€ for salads, and 4-6€ for desserts.

Q: What else do I need to know?
A:
BBQ spareribs, BLT salad, T-bone Angus, club sanwich, NY hotdog, bagels, apple pie, cheesecake...

We went today! The place seemed popular and filled up quickly for lunch. The food was good. We told the host about this article, and the chef came out and said hello to us. Very good experience.

Also on the way here, we found this place in the same neighborhood:

Looks promising, I think.

It is pricey for the US, but for a good burger in Lyon - I'd say not too bad!

just tried it last weekend... had a bacon cheeseburger... the bread was really thick(twice the size as the one pictured on their website)... and the meat was not even seasoned... just plain beef... fries were obviously frozen...
